The rules for using LIFE, in plain words.

What LIFE is

LIFE helps tenants build a complete rental file and send it to agencies, and helps agencies receive, sort and answer applications. LIFE is software. It is not a letting agent and takes no part in choosing a tenant: the agency decides.

Price

LIFE is free for tenants, and always will be. For agencies, LIFE is free during the launch. Any paid plan will be announced in advance and will only apply to agencies that accept it.

Your account

You sign in with a code sent to your email, so keep your inbox secure. One account per person, with true information.

Tenants

Add only your own documents, or a guarantor’s with their agreement. Documents must be genuine and up to date. You choose which agencies receive your file.

Agencies

Use applicants’ data only to assess their application for your listing, and check documents yourself before any signature. Follow equality law: under the Equal Status Acts, refusing a tenant because they receive HAP is illegal. You are responsible for the personal data you download.

The score

The LIFE score is an indication, based on what the applicant declares and the documents they add. LIFE does not verify documents. The score never decides on its own: the agency does.

Availability

LIFE is in its first version. We work to keep it available and secure, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Features may change.

Responsibility

LIFE is not responsible for an agency’s decisions, for the documents users add, or for the letting itself. Nothing here limits the rights you have by law as a consumer.

Closing an account

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend an account used for fraud or to harm others.

Changes

If these terms change in an important way, we tell you by email before the change applies.
