How we handle your data

This page explains in plain words what LIFE keeps and why.

Who is responsible

The publisher of LIFE, named in the legal notice. Contact: contact@life-immo.com.

What we keep

Your name, email, the answers to the profile questions, including the HAP amount if you give it, and the documents you add. For agencies: the agency details, its listings and the enquiries forwarded to LIFE.

Why

To build your rental profile and send it to the agencies you choose. We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.

On what basis

Your consent when you create your profile, and the service you ask for: building your file and sending it where you choose. Deleting your account withdraws your consent. For agencies: the agreement to use LIFE.

Who sees what

Your shared link shows a summary only, never your documents. Your documents are visible only to the agencies you apply to through LIFE. Each agency may use them only to choose a tenant, and is responsible for them under data protection law.

Who helps us run LIFE

Hosting: Render Services, Inc., San Francisco, USA. Servers in Frankfurt, Germany. Emails: Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland). They act only on our instructions, under a data processing agreement.

How long

Your profile stays while you use it. After 12 months without signing in, we delete it, with an email 30 days before. A declined or withdrawn application leaves the agency’s view after 3 months. Enquiry details forwarded by agencies are erased after 3 months, unless an application is in progress. Deleting your account removes everything at once.

Your rights

You can see, correct, download and delete your data at any time from your account, or by writing to contact@life-immo.com. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Where

Data is stored in the European Union.
